BizFizz book unlocks revolutionary business story

" Who's the Entrepreneur? The BizFizz Story: Unleashing the passion, transforming communities " tells the story of how revolutionary new business initiatives, in areas such as Toxteth, Jarrow and East London, are regenerating communities across the country.

The book reflects the experience of the ‘BizFizz’ programme and draws out the lessons to effectively support entrepreneurs within their own communities, particularly those experiencing economic decline. It highlights the powerful role that enterprise, when supported by the wider community, can play to regenerate a community. The book is largely written by practicing BizFizz coaches who have lived and breathed the role.

Who's behind BizFizz
BizFizz was developed by nef (the new economics foundation) and the Civic Trust.Since 2009 nef have been responsibile for supporting and delivering the BizFizz programme. We believe that promoting enterprise is a good way to regenerate communities because local businesses are more likely to employ local people, provide services to improve the local quality of life, spend money locally and so circulate wealth in the community, help people to achieve their dreams, and become skilled and confident, and promote community cohesion.
